The Meena Bazaar Exhibition cum Sale was hosted by Anjuman-I-Islam’s Polytechnic for Girls, Pune, on December 16, 2023, as a lead-up to the group’s 150th anniversary.The event, inaugurated by successful Fashion Designer and alumna Ms. Nafisa Poonawala Hashim, featured 94 stalls offering a variety of products, including textiles, jewelry, perfumes, and artifacts, from brands like GITS and Inaya Pearls.A busy Food Court provided delicacies like pani puri, momos, and biryani. The event was a memorable success due to excellent teamwork and a lively ambiance.

The AIPTECH Certificate Distribution Ceremony for the River Cleaning Initiative was successfully held on December 2, 2025, honoring participants for their environmental conservation efforts. The event was graced by Dr. Yazdi Batliwala, who praised the volunteers and emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining water bodies.

Session on Curriculum by Ms Jabeen Memon Principal of Rainbow Kids

A guest lecture on “Curriculum” for the Preschool Teachers Training Course students was successfully held on December 6, 2024, at Anjuman-I-Islam’s Polytechnic for Girls, Pune. The session was led by the esteemed Principal of Rainbow Kids Academy, Camp, Pune.The lecture provided valuable, in-depth insights into curriculum development, child-centered learning approaches, and assessment techniques in early childhood education. The interactive session was well-received, enriching the aspiring educators with practical knowledge to aid their future teaching careers.

Makeup Activity on High School Annual Day

On December 12, 2025, the Beauty Culture Department students of Anjuman-I-Islam’s Polytechnic for Girls provided makeup services to the campus’s high school girls for the Annual Day celebration, offering a valuable hands-on experience and enhancing the event.

Salad Making Workshop by Ms Gulzar Karmali – CEO of Healthy Greens by Gulzaarz

In its commitment to holistic education, AIPTECH has organized a Salad Making Workshop for preschool students, led by Ms. Gulzar Karmali, CEO of Healthy Greens by Gulzaarz.Scheduled for November 21, 2024, at the AIPTECH Kitchen Area, the session aims to promote healthy eating habits and overall well-being.Students will participate in a fun, interactive, and hands-on session to learn about fruits, vegetables, and simple salad preparation.The key goal is to educate young learners about the nutritional value of salads and encourage them to incorporate healthy food into their daily diet.Ms. Karmali’s expertise will make the session enjoyable and practical, fostering lifelong healthy eating habits.

Healthy Cooking Competition Summary

The “Healthy Cooking Competition” was successfully held on November 27, 2024, for the Preschool Teacher Training Department students.Its main goal was to train future teachers in preparing nutritious and wholesome recipes suitable for preschoolers.The event was honored by the presence of Board members and esteemed guests, with Dr. Kapila Bharocha serving as the judge.Students showcased a variety of delicious and nutritionally rich dishes, offering insightful explanations of the health benefits of their ingredients.

Dr. Bharocha highly commended the participants for their innovation and presentation skills, motivating them to promote healthy eating.

 Bridal Makeup Session by Ms Bharti Sawant 

On Monday, 20th January 2025, a Bridal Makeup Workshop was conducted by Bharti Sawant Ma’am for the students of Anjuman-I-Islam’s Polytechnic for Girls, Pune. The workshop provided students with valuable insights into professional bridal makeup techniques, including skincare preparation, foundation application, contouring, and traditional bridal looks. Bharti Sawant Ma’am, an experienced makeup artist, demonstrated various styles and shared expert tips to enhance students’ practical skills. The interactive session allowed students to practice under her guidance, making it a highly informative and engaging experience. This workshop not only enriched their knowledge but also inspired many students to explore career opportunities in the beauty and makeup industry.

 Field Visit – Department of Dress Designing & Manufacturing 

On 4th February 2025, the Dress Designing and Manufacturing Department of Anjuman-I-Islam’s Polytechnic for Girls went on a field visit to Omkar Arts in Katraj from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM. During the visit, students had the opportunity to observe various types of printing machines, including digital printing and traditional printing techniques. The visit provided valuable insights into the intricate processes involved in fabric design and production. Students learned about the latest advancements in textile printing and how modern technology is integrated with traditional methods to create unique designs. This visit enhanced their understanding of the industry and its practical applications, helping them gain a deeper appreciation for the art of dress designing and manufacturing.

CPR Workshop by Dr Rajkumar Shah 

Anjuman-I-Islam’s Polytechnic for Girls, Pune is organizing a life-saving CPR training session, led by renowned expert Dr. Rajkumar Shah. This crucial workshop, titled “Life-Saving Skills for the Future,” aims to empower students and faculty members with the essential skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Scheduled for 12th February 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the Central Hall, this session is open to all students and faculty members, providing a valuable opportunity to acquire life-saving skills. During the session, Dr. Rajkumar Shah will provide hands-on training, demonstrating critical techniques for performing CPR effectively in emergency situations. The workshop will cover the importance of immediate response during cardiac arrest, proper hand placement for chest compressions, and rescue breathing techniques. Additionally, participants will be guided through real-life scenarios to practice their skills, ensuring confidence and readiness in case of an emergency. This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to equipping students with vital knowledge that could save lives and highlights the significance of first aid training in everyday situations.
