Khalid and Zeyna Foundation

Donor of Polytechnic

The Khalid & Zeyna Foundation is pleased to be associated with the secular Anjuman Polytechnic, by providing scholarships to girls from underprivileged backgrounds.  This enables them to be financially independent, and therefore paving their way for a brighter future for them, their families and their communities.

Whereas the number of girls we sponsor gives us cause for satisfaction, we would like to increase our financial support.

Our Foundation is focused on Polytechnic Education and Higher Learning.  We see many advantages for women and girls to undertake the courses available at Anjuman’s Polytechnic:

  • Easier to gain admission at the Polytechnic.
  • Courses are of shorter duration, therefore enabling the student to gain financial independence earlier.
  • Provide excellent technical and practical knowledge and skills, through a structured program and professional skills training.
  • Polytechnic studies are more focused, catering to industry requirements and manpower needs of the country.  The Polytechnic is able to change the courses dependent on requirements in the labour force.
  • Because of this focus, the students are more easily employable as they graduate with the right skills.
  • By providing government certification, and with the knowledge gained, these courses are almost at par with a degree course.
  • Fees are reasonable compared to degree courses.
  • Provide easier transition to further studies, and more importantly, lucrative earnings.
  • Ability to mix with students from all backgrounds, thus facilitating their overall development and values.
  • High level of job placement.

With our very best wishes to the dedicated teachers and the students who will become role models for others and the leaders of tomorrow.

Mrs. Ferzana Khanna

My heartiest congratulations to Anjuman-I-islam Polytechnic for Girls for completing 25years of providing vocational training for women, thereby empowering them to become financially independent.

It is especially heartening to see how the institute has kept up with the times by offering professional training in the fields that are relevant to the changing professional demands. Events like the Annual Meena Bazaar and inter-College competitions provide students with the opportunity to build networks with other colleges, share their success stories and enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Helping the youth to become self-reliant is imperative. We are a young country and the curriculum of the

courses run at this institute include theory and practical aspects with hands on training.  This will help our future generation to launch into a range of mainstream career options.

I would like to convey my best wishes to the Polytechnic for continuing with their efforts to empower women. This encourages their will to face and meet a number of challenges for their professional landscape in the future.

“Giving is just not about donating, it’s about making a difference.”

The chords that magnetically draw one closer to the A.I.I Polytechnic for Girls’ institute is the mission that has been remarkably achieved through its sincere and dedicated services rendered towards women empowerment over decades.

Taking a progressive step and embarking upon yet another level of success is the need of the times today. The area of women empowerment has been neglected and untouched for far too long but it is the sole focus here. The institute certainly has made and continues to make a difference in the lives of the deserving women who dream of self-reliance and have the capability to weave a success story about themselves.

I am humbled to have been associated with this institute that is igniting the lamp of skill and knowledge in the hearts of girls and women across society. My contribution to every effort made by the institute to keep the spirits of women empowerment high is a humbling journey for me.

I wish the Management, Principal, Staff, Students and all the kind and generous hands that are supporting this ideal thought all the very best. May the efforts and diligence of the founder members continue to spread this spark of independence and self-reliance among the girls and women of all strata of the society irrespective of their caste, creed, class or religion.
