Empowering women is an indispensable tool for advancing development and reducing poverty. An educated woman can change the future of its entire family and bring about all round progress. A woman is entitled to live in dignity and in freedom from want and fear. Empowered women contribute to the health and productivity of the whole family and community and also, are an improved prospect for the next generation. Anjuman -I-Islam’s, right from its inception has been in the forefront of empowerment of women and their education.
And, the Polytechnic at Pune is a fine example of Empowerment of Women by Anjuman-I- Islam’s. It has produced several eminent professionals, some of whom have become highly successful entrepreneurs.

The local trustees of Vali Mohammed Dost Mohammed complex, the teachers and the staff are doing a fine job. However, much more needs to be done and I am sure that all of them have the commitment and ability to achieve that. Anjuman-I-Islam’s management is with them in their efforts, shoulder by shoulder and I wish them the best in their efforts.
